SallyHon
Yesterday I called the NVC, a lady told me they received my approved case on 11/23/05, but not in their computer...What does this mean? Thanks! Link to comment

Thanks!171524[/snapback]INS Forwards Approved I-129F Petitions for K3s to NVC----------------------------------------------------- 9. INS has a new Service Center designed to handle theLIFE Act visas, both V and K3. The new Missouri ServiceCenter (MSC) will adjudicate all I-129F petitions for K3visas. INS will note the country of marriage in the"Remarks" section of the I-129F. Once a petition isapproved, MSC will forward the paper case file to NVC aswell as the usual electronic data file. The above is an excerpt from the FEDERAL REGISTER VOL. 66 that closely relates to the question at hand. This volume outlines the K3 procedure. Although the Missouri Service Center (MSC) has changed to the National Benefits Center (NBC), not to mention the INS-BCIS-USCIS change, the procedure still follows the outline. There has been no revisions to the outline that I am aware of as far as procedure. Link to comment
