Hi,this is Yanfei Clawson ,wife of marsofborg. We are befuddled as how to fill out the papers of adjustments of status. Please give some advices.Thanks!

Start with the I-485 Application. Follow the instructions carefully. You can also file the I-765 (EAD) for an employment card and the I-131 (advance parole) for permission to enter and leave the U.S. These two forms are optional but the I-485 is a must. The forms can be printed off the USCIS website.

Form I-485

Form G-325A

Form I-765 (only needed if you plan to work before you get your green card.

Form I-131 (only needed if you plan to return to China before you get your green card.)

Form I-864

Form I-693 supplimental for vaccinations. (obtain from civil surgeon)
