audelair
I was putting my wife's newly acquired passport and CR1 visa along with the big sealed package in a safe place, and my wife asked what happens if we lose the stuff or get it stolen. I shuddered at the question and said that would be my biggest nightmare and really don't want to think about it! After thinking about it though, i was wondering what the procedure would be? If you lose it, of course you have to get another chinese passport, which would already be a big enough pain. But how about the visa (and the sealed package?)? I'm just wondering if you would have to reapply for a visa, or if it can be reissued? I did a search for this and saw that this question never came up, so i'm glad to hear this hasn't happened to anyone here, at least not recently! Link to comment

pkfops
Keeping photo copies on hand would be a good idea. When I travel I make two sets of passport/visa, air ticketsand credit cards. Link to comment

Make enough copies to put in your wallet/money pouch, suitcases, and carry-on. Link to comment
