JamesnYuHong
When I am in China, can I buy two one-way tickets to America using a credit card? Or do I need to have the cash available? Are most people buying their post-interview tickets to the U.S. in advance, or waiting until after the interview? Thanks,James Link to comment
ed and ying
I have only bought dometic tickets in China. The airline ticket offices will acceept credit cards. The ticket brokers ( the crads everyone wants to give you) take cash only. I have have booked our return in advance, primarily because i have taken this flight numerous times and more times than not it is full, not a single seat to be had. Link to comment
cosmiclobster
We always bought tickets from "agents". They delivered the tickets to our hotel room but insisted on cash. We had no problem buying one way tickets a week before departure. Link to comment
pkfops
Your timeline puts you close to National Week, a heavy travel time in China. Have your SO do some checking as things are a bit different in China, like waiting for the last minute to book. I did book a one way ticket with Singapore onlinefor my SO under an account I created in her name. Link to comment
