xtal
Hi all, I received the I-129F (K-3) NOA1 over a week ago but the receipt cannot be found when I use the online case status website. It gives me this message: Validation Error(s)You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:Status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the service center where you submitted your application. The case also cannot be found when I use the automated phone system. The receipt was issued on 8/12/05 and it is an MSC-xx-xxx-xxxxx type receipt. Does anyone have any ideas if this is right? I guess not all applications can be tracked online, but not sure if this should be one of them. Thanks! Link to comment
HanLi
I too had some difficulty with my case number not being available online, try calling them directly at 7:30 AM... talk with a humangood luck Link to comment
tywy_99
The USCIS online case status is a 'one day' service. You didn't know that?Sure! They'll service you by getting your information into their system..........'one day!'............ Link to comment
Trigg
It'd probably be a safe bet that they have yet to enter your number into their computer. Efficiancy ain't their thing! Link to comment

xtal
LOL - yeah I guess I got spoiled when I saw my I-130 status in the system right away when I got the NOA for it... I'll call 'em and see what they got to say. Link to comment
Guest Gene
Welcome Aboard Your timing is pretty good MSC is scooting I-129's for K-3's in about 2 to 3 weeks Link to comment
Guest ShaQuaNew
Welcome to Candle. While you may have already tried, be sure you omit any spaces or dashes when you type in your receipt number and include all alphnumeric characters. A telephone call can clear it up for you however, though you may have to wait on hold for an extended period.... Link to comment
xtal
Well I called them and even though I didn't get a resolution on the online case status issue, I did learn that they do have my case in their system (since they read off some information from it) so I figure I'll just wait a few weeks since the I-129F hopefully won't take so long anyways. And thanks for the welcome people, and good luck to all of you. Link to comment
