tywy_99
N/A would work. Leaving it blank should work too. I would put N/A just to be safe though. Link to comment
david_dawei
You can view any sample file with examples filled in, this will link to Visa Journey : http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10941 In their sample form, they have "NONE"... I think N/A is probably also ok. But leaving a field on any form is usually not a good idea. Use "N/A" or "NONE" as most appropriate... Link to comment

Mengxin
If you pick the DS-230 apart word for word, you'll see that they have made it impossible to fill out correctly. This was the worst form of them all to fill out. It's not that difficult, unless you disect it like i did. I think that there is added stress in the form because in at least 5 different places in the instructions and forms they remind you. "don't screw it up. because if you do, there will be delays. ...and it's all your fault." poor instructructions and repeated threats. Somebody at NVC should rewrite the entire DS230 over again. This is NOT a trick question - the DS-230 is used for ALL immigrant visas. Link to comment

Don't forget it is a mix here not all K-1's Link to comment

Randy W
Thanks for the K-1correction - yes, I do tend to think in terms of my own case. But it seems that the number of lawyer flubs is WAY too high. I think that going with a lawyer is VERY risky - do it yourself. Link to comment
Mengxin
if I only knew then, what I do now. that really doesn't matter anyway. what ever choice I make the results will never be in my favor. at the time I signed up for this wait, K3 from CSC was faster than K1. Then convieniently, "the backlog reduction act" went into play. It's backed me up and reduced me alright. just like they said. Edited July 25, 2005 by Mengxin (see edit history) Link to comment
