Had to pull another all nighter at work, third time in three weeks. All that I have posted is the updated Interview Table. As I am reading posts, I notice new members or existing members with updated information. If you have opportunity please PM us (Timeline) with your timeline information. If you have completed the P3 (K1/K3) or DS-230 (CR-1) already and do not see your name on the Prediction Table please contact us. David, thanks for the consulate holiday schedule, I have incorporated this into the prediction tables. Also, does anyone know how many days of the week the consulate will do K1/K3/CR1/IR1 interviews. In last week's post I explained that in the predicting process, I assume interviews will only happen on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and the table reflects this. LouRose Posted June 29, 2005 Report Share Posted June 29, 2005 Anyone have information on LouRose or jinqutierrez interviews ????My husband did get his visa! Sorry I didn't report back earlier, we were travelling for a couple weeks with my family. The interview was on the 16th, they asked all the questions we had practiced, and they didn't look at anything he brought except the tax returns. It was all over before noon. Then he immediately flew back to Harbin for our wedding on the 19th. Then the next day he flew back to GZ yet again to pick up the visa. Needless to say he has had more than enough trips to good old GuangZhou. We are relieved that part is over, and now getting nervous and excited for the move to the US! Link to comment

David, in a previous post you thought there was more historical data that I missed. I checked the two posts you referred to and added 2 or 3 more entries to the Historical Average Table that I missed. But I think that you thought there was more records than 2 or 3 ???1) Just a quick look at our own interview schedule shows thursday and friday interviews.. friday is low, but two of them... on 001 I noted MANY thursdays as well. 2) Your previous post has April = 12 ; May = 15 (# of interviews by month) I stated that this looked low compared to the actual count of names in past months threads : April = 24 , May = 22. I'm looking at the actual past interviews listed.. and the recent post is simply showing a number of past interviews... So the # of interviews per month for April and May don't sync up. If you go to the threads I referenced, you can count the people with an April interview.. it comes to 24 (I hope !).. but your number for April (in the recent "by month" ) was 12... Link to comment

She received her P3 on March 8, 2005 and returned it on March 15. Timeline Posted June 30, 2005 Author Report Share Posted June 30, 2005 Added the Prediction Table (see original post at the top). Below is the math behind the calcuations (based on current data). 1. Currently using a 3-month running average (111 days) on predictions for the number of days from P3 to P4 for K1/K3 (using CFL data). This average is from "P3 entered into the computer at Guangzhou" to projected P4 date. For other P3 dates, such as "P3 received", etc., the estimate is slighter higher (see below). 2. Currenting using a small sample size for the average (128 days) on predictions for the number of days from P3 to P4 for CR-1 (using CFL data). This average os from "P3 entered into the computer at Guangzhou" to projected P4 date. For other P3 dates, such as "Case forwared to Guangzhou from the NVC", etc., the estimate is higher (see below). 3. Currently using a 3-month running average (42 days) on the prediction for the number of days from P4 to Interview date for K1/K3/CR1 (using CFL data). 4. Above modified for; P4 issued on MON-FRI, Interviews on MON-THU, and consulate holidays. 5. In addition, minor data correction to normalize individual data. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So using the three different P3 colors ( brown, blue, green):brown.: K1/K3 = P3 received by Guangzhou and entered into the computer.......: CR1 ..= Case received by Guangzhou and entered into the computer.blue..: K1/K3 = P3 sent to Guanghou or received by Guangzhou.......: CR1 ..= Case forwarded by the NVC to Guangzhou.green.: K1/K3 = P3 received by CFL member or date on P3 letter.......: CR1 ..= Case completed by the NVC. K1/K3 : From receipt of P3 by beneficiary to return of P3 to Guangzhou = 5 days..... : From Guangzhou receiving P3 to "entry into the computer" by Guangzhou = 4 days..... : From "entry into the computer" by Guangzhou to P4 = 111 days..... : From P4 to Interview : 42 days So depending on which P3 date you reported (brown, blue, green) your projected P4 date will be (then add 42 days to determine interview date):K1/K3 (P3-P4) = 111 days K1/K3 (P3-P4) = 111 + 4 = 115 days K1/K3 (P3-P4) = 111 + 4 + 5 = 120 days CR-1 : From case completion at NVC to NVC forwarding case to Guangzhou = 7 days.... : From NVC forwarding case to Guangzhou to "entry into the computer" by Guangzhou = 42 days.... : From "entry into the computer" by Guangzhou to P4 = 128 days.... : From P4 to Interview : 42 days So depending on which DS-230 date you reported (brown, blue, green) your projected P4 date will be (then add 42 days to determine interview date):CR-1 (P3-P4) = 128 days CR-1 (P3-P4) = 128 + 42 = 170 days CR-1 (P3-P4) = 128 + 42 + 7 = 177 days The projected P4/Interview dates are slightly modified for weekdays, holiday, etc. Mark Link to comment
