Guest aosnow
it took about 5 months from filing to interview. The interview was a snap. just saw the income on the tax return and sat back in his chair to ask pro-forma questions re: drugs, communist party, helping someone commit fraud and the like. The only tip I have is send it all in with the application, if they read it and you make a good living, you're good to go. Link to comment

Guest aosnow
there is nothing next, as concerns USCIS, except filing to remove conditions on permanent resident status twetny-one months from now. There is a form, I-751, to file with two statements from people knowing that we live together. Many of the cases are processed without an interview, then she brings in photos for a ten year green card. Link to comment

C4Racer
Great news.. thanks for the tip. Just sent in AOS to Chicago. They received it Thursday. Guess will see how long the new process takes. Used to be a short time here in Portland. Now, guess I shouldn't hold my breathe. The government stance is, if it's broke don't fix it. If it works, by all means, let's break it... Link to comment
