  1. I know I need one for me and my fiancee. Does he have to sign it or can I just forge it myself?
  2. Does a co-sponsor have to be a USC or can it be a permanent resident too?
  3. I can do that? Oh tell me more because I think what if I do ask for a delay until I get the W2, will it make the embassy think maybe me and my fiancee isn't serious enough? As mostly every couples once they get the P3 will proceed to the last step right away. If this is possible then good! Do you know anyone who has request a delay for the interview and everything was fine?
  4. Jay, I have had my I-134 notarized, but not my employer verification letter, is this something [new], you have read somewere ??? I have already sent all of this off to my Lao Po. Hi Roger, I remember you mentioned about a guy in Nanning who helped your wife with her P3. I don't remember what his name was. Can you tell me his contact information please? Thank you.
  5. I wanted to start a poll but i guess that option has been taken off. So the question is how many of you who went through the embassy interview already was ask to show three years of income? I also have another question. If my K1 petition gets approve and my fiancee goes for the interview before I can get official copies of my tax report W2 before Jan 29, 2009 stating the amount of cash I made for 2008, is there another way to obtain this in advance? Another option to show prove 2008 income? I was overseas for almost a year for 2007, I made below the poverty level. But this year I am expecting about 26,000 for 2008.
  6. The I-131 is the same form that we use for AP. Thanks. This was very informative.
  7. We'll always return to the US once in a year. I think this will work out. =) We want to live in China but still have some of the rights like any USC for my man. We'll do whatever it takes to keep his permanent resident in the US. I'm gonna try to a get a Green Card in China too. Yeap. That's the plan.
  8. My man and I have decided that, we will get marry in the US and go back to China because that's where all his work and business is. He is his own boss. His parents love him, he's the first son in the family. He has to look out for his two young brothers. It will be so hard to not see him again in a very long time away from his family. He's a hardworking man and would love to visit the US and stay for vacations. His heart is in China. =) Can he still go back to China and live there with a two year unconditional green card in the US? As long as he returns to the US within the time frame the green card expires, he can still renew it as many times as he wants? How long after we file the AOS that he goes for an interview to get a green card? Thanks everyone. =)
  9. I second that. You deserve better Drew! There are plenty of asian in the US who are hardworking and aren't drawn to money. Make the right choice pal. This kind of woman is very common in China especially off from Guangdong. They want money. In their mind, $1000 is nothing to a USC. Most women think USC are RICH AS HECK. This is probably why your wife is playing 'mood games' to get your attention. The phone hanging up, is a game she is playing to get you to go back to her and beg on your knees, say your sorry and hand her $$$$ to make up. Don't fall for it man! If you speak to her the next time, speak with confidence and tell her you're not falling for her games. If all she wants is money, then say your goodbyes asap. There are plenty of asians in the US who are educated and mature when it comes to life. Wish you the best no matter what happens. "Everything happens for the best."
  10. What are the requirements to obtain a green card in China for a USC?
  11. I'm just a student and I have no assets except for a job now. I thought my friend was a USC, but he's just a permanent resident. lol just my luck.
  12. Can a friend act as co-sponser, I thought it had to be family and a USC ? I could be wrong , it has been known before Friend, Enemy, it dont matter. Can you be my co-sponsor then?
  13. He would not be sponsoring you, Claire. Only your BF. LOL Yes that's right.
  14. Yeah my friend will help me if I need him to co-sponsor me and my boyfriend. He's single and has no dependents.
  15. My fiancee and I are looking forward to our interview date somewhere in Febuary 2009. I will still be making just about the same, $21,000 or so for 2009. I'm so worried.
  16. I might need a co-sponsor just in case the interviewer looks for all three years in tax and income info. Don't want to risk the chance of walking out of the place with a frown. For 2008, I calculated and will make over a little above $21,000 annually. 2005: $8000. 2006: $8000. 2007: $4000. I stayed in China with my boyfriend for half a year. ^^; I have a friend who has been making over two years of good stable income so far that is above $24,000. A few years before that, he made a little less. We have known each other for almost two years now. Can he be my co-sponsor? He used to work in California but he decided to move to Arizona and has been there for almost a year. Can he still be my co-sponsor? Is there another specific requirement for a co-sponsor besides the money? But since I am making above 125% poverty level this year, will I be fine without a co-sponsor? I got my first job after turning 18. Will the interviewer make any exceptions? Thanks in advance!
  17. I am planning to use 2008 tax and employment information as last year's tax for early 2009 interview. What if the last two years 2006-2007 wasn't above the 125% poverty line? Does all the interviewers look all the way to 1-3 years tax? If they do ask for all three years, and it shows that the first two years I made less then the third year, would that hurt me by any chance? I hope it won't be a problem as long as 2008 is 125% above poverty level and the employer letter will be convincing enough. Looking forward to hear from you all. Thanks in advance!
  18. congradulations! will you kindly tell us what the interviewer ask your wife?
  19. thank you everyone. my boyfriend just told me about him and i thought maybe you guys might know about this guy. it's great that this lawyer guy knows his job. the nanning guy i heard about him too. =)
  20. http://www.gzglobal.net/index2.asp My boyfriend said it takes $1500 to hire this guy to ensure everything for the P3 and the process to the interview... Hmm....... What do you guys think?
  21. just to be on the safe side, i won't put in anything that might raise an eyebrow.
