the interview was in Oct 2007. Went on AP for 7 months. Now on AR for the last 2 months. that means waiting for almost 9 months. It is still in GZ. The waiting can be couple of months or couple of years! I am thinking of putting in a new I-129. At least that should be ready in about another 9 months. I could withdraw this if and when I get my original CR-1. If I get a denial, I will of course fight it (which could take a couple of years), but I will have something else going. What do you think? I just borrowed a book from my local library, CHINA, people, place, culture, history, by alison Baily et. al. DK books 2007. This is a great book on China. It has 350 oversized pages with full color photos on every page. Library call # is 951 C. (I assume that this # is the same in all libraries) If you are collecting books on China, this will make a very good addition ! Ken88

NOTE: Wife could have filed I-130 as soon as she got green-card a few years ago, this would have been classified as F2B and would have been on hold for a visa number, and once wife became citizen, you could contacted NVC and got case upgraded to F1 class, and perhaps got a 3-4 year jump on the waiting line. I applied for CR-1 visa. I submitted the financial proof, right here in the US, much before the interview. It is a surprice to me why it should be different for K-1 and/or K-3 visas. Ken88
