Has anyone had their Chinese passport arbitrarily cancelled? My wife (Chinese) heard from some friends in China who said their passports were cancelled with several years still left. She was able to check hers on wechat using facial recognition - it has been cancelled with over 5 years left!!! She is currently in the USA waiting for adjustment of status. She knows of 5 people this has happened to. Anyone have any idea whats going on?? Thanks
