Glad I found this website, my fiance' and I have been going through the rigors of 221(g) for months. Finally, I had an email this morning (exact same one as Blue Rock) and I must say when first glancing over it I was devastated to see that it said nothing about approval, only "under section221(g)..." Reading this makes me very happy. Congrats Blue Rock! dnoblett - I was wondering, in the email to my fiance, they requested the passport with 8 months validity and two new visa photos. They also requested a return to the panel physician for a new medical exam. I have a couple of questions that I wonder if you know the answer to: - 1.) I'm assuming her re-exam can be done at any certified medical panel and not just in Guangzhou (her first was done in Guangzhou days before her interview but Shanghai is closer) 2.) They did not ask for an updated police report but it is approaching 6 months. Should she get a new one even though they didn't ask for it? 3.) I'm assuming she should not send in her passport until she has undergone the updated medical exam Thanks so much for your help guys!
