  1. Somethings, China just seems to do right, this is one of them, pornography/ voyerisum with dubious moral benefits. Think about it men/women looking at other men or women who they know not but desiring and mentally fornicating with them, slightly twisted.
  2. 1968 quite a year! Vietnam and the Tet Offensive, China's "cultural" revolution, Antiwar protest in the USA, taunting of soliders when they came back from Nam, one was accusing them of being baby killers; one solider was asked how many babies he killed, his reply was only as many as He could eat! A good answer to the question. Communism was certainly on the move during that time.
  3. As tragic as these sinkings are, it seems that part of the world has a "fix" on these ferry sinkings not a year goes by that a sinking is being reported.

    Farewell Jay Leno

Jay was good, good with current events not a media lap dog in his monologues. Though sorrow for him being replaced is not needed when you leave someplace with at least a 100 million dollars.
  5. It seems a new directive will give Parole in Place status to veterans and military people's immediate family members if here illegally or otherwise.
  6. A song by Stevie Wonder "A Place in The Sun" comes to mind, by the mentioning of moving on. If my soon to be ex has filed the I-751, and USCIS goes along with the memo by Donald Neufeld, and they would like some verification from myself or our friends if the marriage was a bonafide I will tell them it is OK by me. Though I do not know how USCIS will go about it, and I'm not really all that concern, I had my attorney pass on to her attorney the memo from Neufeld, they can take it from there.
  7. Thanks for the last two answers, (also the other ones) the replies have cleared up my confusion, I hope for her sake she did file the I-751, though I do not know for sure, I would give the benefit of the doubt on whether her intentions when we married were bona-fide, although my Counsel thinks different. My feeling are I cared for this person otherwise I would not of gone through the tedious process of the K1 and all the other requirements plus the expense at the same time I'm not bogged down in should haves, would have, if a departing gift to her is that a 10 year GC is issued under the memo issued by Donald Neufeld, USCIS, so be it.
  8. As is the case her two year card expired this past March, with the marriage in divorce court, looking at this May for a decree from the court terminating the marriage, was filed as a simple Irreconcilable Differences, if both parties agreed it could be done and over with, though that is not quite the case as my spouse has met an "ambulance chase lawyer" doing his best to complicate the divorce. which in a nutshell could be put aside, though her lawyer is complicating the divorce in an effort to get the ten year green card, misguided as his effort is. My question is, even though she is out of status and maybe has not sent in the I-751, would she still be eligible to receive the ten year card as the memo by Donald Neufeld, Acting Associate Director of the USCIS, mentions?
  9. http://www.murthy.com/2013/01/07/options-for-conditional-permanent-residents-with-marital-problems/ So, tell me, if the marriage is bona-fide at the time of marriage, but it does not work out, would it be possible for the Chinese National to receive a 10 year Green Card, without having to ask for the GC because of abuse or other matters, as long as the marriage was bona-fide when married, and the former spouse and friends would attest that they believed the marriage was bona-fide when it took place?
  10. The problem with this answer is this, the approval of a visa petition is prima facie evidence of the relationship between the petitioner and the beneficiary, as we know the Consulate is not to re-adjudicate petitions, unless they obtain sufficent facts that is known or reason to believe the beneficiary is not entitled to the visa. Other than the Consualte acting not in the scope ot their authority by issuing a nonbona fide denial that has no merit. They should pass the reason along to the petitioner, not the techniques used to garner the information, but their reason they have concluded the relation to be non-bona fide.
  11. Thanxs for the reply, though I feel it goes somewhat more complex than, just their denial without an explanation. My feeling is who are they working for the people who they supposedly serve or the Government who the people serve, unfortunatley it seems to be the later, sharing the information which led to the decision would be the govenment working for the people (the petitioner ) helping in their effort to making an inform decision, about the petitioners request for a visa.
  12. I was one, whose significant other was given a non-bona fide relation on the first pass, I did everything possible, rant and raved, wrote Congressmen, asked for FOIA, sent in the rebuttal to the service office ,went to the Consulate in Guangzhou, did everything shy of spitting BB's maybe I did that also and did not realize it, though finally the visa was granted (K1). That was me being subjective. After talking with an attorney he wanted to know what the denial was about I explained the veil of secrecy the Consulate has as for a non bona fide ruling, which made him think as attorneys do, that something was said at the interview that may have trigged the non bona fide decision. Quite possible seeing it from the Attorneys point of view if the Consulate would stop with the cloak and dagger and explain their reasoning for the decision to the petitioner, they could make a more objective rather than subjective choice in pursuing the visa request.
  13. Maybe not so much a tradition, more as a cultural art value China has for the world is Taij Chuan (tai chi), as for myself I have studied under Grandmaster Zeng Chen Dong (Tung) of whom his grandfather was a disciple of Yang Chengfu. Master Chengfu is credited with the Yang style of Taij., Recommended for all, practice the art, spread the word!
  14. I wonder if any of us need advice in this area, or if Chinese ladies are any more hygenic demanding then other ladies or men of the world, which leads me to think of Victorain Europe and their attention to hygiene and my favorite the American "cowboy movies" getting off their horse, heading into the Saloon and meeting up with Ms. Kitty for some fun and games.
  15. Thanks, both answers, have helped me to understand, the process.
