  1. On question 25 of the I-864, the box says "I have filed a federal tax return for each of the most recent tax years. I have only been working for a year and a half so that's not applicable to me. My parents are joint sponsoring my wife, so they will provide their past 3 years tax returns. Should I still check the box and attach my tax returns for last year or should I just leave that space blank altogether? Thanks! Mike
  2. Good enough for me. Really appreciate the help guys. Especially from Yu and Dan, keep up the good work.
  3. My Fiance's interview is on the 7th. I just booked a room with XiaJianXin, cause I saw some good reviews on a different forum. I ran across his self-advertisement page on CFL and I'm wondering if it's legit. If the room conditions are bad, we can just switch later so thats not the issue. I'm more curious whether it's actually safe since I can't accompany my fiance to Guangzhou. Can anyone advise?
  4. Thanks Dan, My parents can co-sponsor if needed. I'll just hurry up with filing my tax returns this week. We haven't been told when our interview will be yet as we just sent out p3 (i mistakenly believed that following the I-134 instructions was enough). Thanks for the help!
  5. Dan, Thanks for the information, the problem might be that I'm inexperienced with taxes period. I have never filed a tax return (I started working January 2011) and this is my first year. Will the IRS have anything on record for me? Are you saying that the W-2 is not enough? Thanks, Mike
  6. This may be a stupid question but I'm pulling together an I-134 right now and I'm not sure what to include. It's my first year working, so I don't have tax returns from past years. What I do have: Photocopies of W-2 (for this year's returns) Letter from my bank Photocopies of Recent Pay Stubs Letter from my employer I also have my Photocopies of my W-4 and M-4 for Masssachusetts although I don't know if that's relevant My income is above the 125% of poverty. Is this enough or do I need to keep looking for other things? Thanks Guys!
