To anyone interested I found an ourcomplaints NSC group today that appears to be patterned off of the TSC group. The purpose of the group appears to be to prod the NSC into faster processing times. Since I have a NOA-1 date of May 10th 2003 and an estimated processing time of 150 - 180 days I am all for anything that could help. I posted the site in the links section here. Carl

I've written my congressmen and senators twice and have never heard a peep out of any of them and its been well over a month since the first time. Our glorius leaders here in Oregon are pretty much worthless anyway. Carl

My oldest sister begged me to come and visit her when I was In Idaho visiting my family. I didn't want to drive the extra 110 miles to her house. Thanks Jim. Since I just recieved NOA-1 about 2 weeks ago I think it's fairly safe to assume that Bing will not get her visa before September when her son turns 21. What are our options then? How long does it take? Do we have to wait until she has her permanent resident alien status before we can begin the process of bringing him here? Carl

Bing's son turns 21 in september is single and going to college in Malaysia. I thought that because of the life act if I file before he turns 21 and is unmarried he can accompany his mother here. I just received this email from a friend in a similar situation. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I received NOA-1 today. It says it is currently taking 150- 180 days to process out of NSC now. Carl

Although I just filed my I129 and the much awaited date is far off. The previous post made me curious about what options are available for bringing our loved ones belongings here. I am sure she will have much more than what is allowed in her luggage lol. A lifetime of memories attached to each belonging. I can only imagine the struggle over what to keep and what to leave behind forever Carl

Hi Im Carl in Portland Oregon and new to this group. I am nearly finished with the I-129 F and 325 A and I am sending them in tomorrow A suggestion for you guys getting ready to go to china. Get your fiance's biographic info before you go fill it out on a fillable form, print it out and take it with you. Have her sign and date it there. It will save you a lot of headaches and be one less distraction while you're there enjoying each others company. Carl
