  1. I think that means they are processing your case because that's exactly what happened to my case before I got my green card. Good luck!
  2. You must feel really happy and exciting.
  3. We know that feeling well... CONGRATULATIONS!! Thanks.
  4. Finally my green card came in the mailbox yesterday! What a relief.
  5. JingQuan I think you guys will get it soon since your case process time is so similar as mine. Good luck! Sorry. I meant both of our cases were transferred to csc almost in the same day. Hope they process by transfer date. LOL.

  7. I think you will see the light very soon since your case has been transferred to csc. Because my case was transferred to csc on Oct 1st and I just received a email from uscis and it says my case has been proved and they've already send me a welcome letter about a week ago. Hope this will warm you up in this freezing winter, lol. I hope you're right. We were transferred to CSC too. Our son received his welcome letter with his EAD card, we're still waiting for my wife's. It's been 4 months since submission, I just checked the USCIS website, the case is pending... Just received the welcome letter and it says I am expecting to receive my GC within three weeks. I've been waiting about 9 month until today. I think the average GC time is between 6 to 12 month basic on K1. As I said before you will probably get yours in a short time since your case has been transferred to csc. Good luck!

  9. Sorry, I was wrong about that. I guess you can travel around outside of the US as long as you have an AP.
  10. I don't think you are able to travel outside of the US without a GC. What i think is that you can only parole once every year. This website might help you: http://www.immihelp.com/greencard/adjustme...nce-parole.html
  11. AmyAndDoug, I got my EAD in Eight days after Uscis informed me that card production has been ordered which was on Oct 8th. And then after that day my case date just kept updating every time i logged in and checked it. Every single notice was exactly the same except the date. So you might get yours pretty soon!
  12. yeah, that happened to me to. I checked my date almost everyday and the date online just kept change. But I just got my EAD yesterday and got my AP on 12th!
  13. Yeah, it is necessary. I thought i had all my vaccination shot in China because i did exactly what i was told. After i entered the US and went to the hospital (for part of the gc process) and i handed him my yellow book which shows what shots i've have had and then he told me that i needed one more chicken pot shot because the one i have had was 10 years ago which was too old. Of course i also had all the shots you've mentioned.
  14. Congrats! So it seemed like your honey didn't get what the clerk said or she was just over exciting about the happiest moment of your guys marriage.
  15. I had my case transferred to CSC about a week ago. From what some people from cfl said it seems like we will be getting our gc without an interview.
  16. I got my drivers license only by using my state ID and marriage certification because i had my name changed. I got my permit first and then i waited for about a month before i went back to DMV for my drivers license. BTW, i am in Chicago. Maybe the rules are different in Texas.
  17. They just updated my case and it said my case has been transfered to california.
  18. AmyAndDoug: Exactly what i've been told from uscis when i called them! First time they said just wait for another month, and comes with a couple of weeks and finally they said there is nothing they or i can do except waiting! So do not trust those people! They are liars. I heard some people said even you have a lawyer who is not really can help you that much.
  19. Did you get a written update at least? I just read my online update from 7/21. It says "you should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days......" We'll reach 60 days by the end of next week. did yours say the same? My lawyer said that since EAD has a 90 day limit, if it passes 90 days (not sure from beginning or RFE), I can make an appointment with the USCIS office here and should be able to get my EAD card issued on the same day when I go in for the appointment. Anyone heard of this? Is that correct? (lawyers nowadays aren't all that trustworthy...unfortunately...) It doesn't matter how they count the time, my case has already out of the normal time and that is also what i was told from one of the uscis people when i called them about a week ago. He and she told me that there is really nothing i can do about my case except waiting. It's almost been 6 months since i filled my AOS and about 4 month after we sent the evidence for my RFE. Still nothing! But they did update my data which is 3 months ago.
  20. Still better than me. It's been 4 month since I sent the RFE evidence ! I didn't get anything, not even my EAD or AP!
  21. The same thing happened to me too. I got an RFE about 4 months ago and I am still waiting for my GC, even haven't gotten my EAD or AP! My husband called UISIS couple times but didn't get any useful information at all. I guess there is nothing we can do except waiting.
  22. Hi,Dan. I got my NOA for AOS, EAD and AP on April 4th and It only took 11 days from the day I filed it. My biometric appointment will be on 16th of this month. From what the notice said i think we only need to being any of our photo ID and the appointment letter. Good luck!
