  1. Thanks for the prompt reply, Randy. You're pretty prolific on these here boards, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that really appreciates the effort. The accountant idea is a good one, but I've already included my last pay stub, letter from my boss (on letterhead) and copy of my work ID badge. Hopefully, this will suffice. Subsequently, I won't be able to be present during the interview due to work (I work for the gov't and this is a blackout time for vacation in my dept.), so I'm just going to go ahead and include the tax data as well as my parents support affidavits in the package I'm mailing her. If nothing else, the tax data will further backup the time I spent over there with her, and the co-sponsor data will be available if need be. Thanks again, Will
  2. Though my current salary easily covers the requirement (+$40K), my 2005, '06, '07 and '08 tax returns list my income as negative because I lived in China and did not make more than the +$60K in each year. For this reason, I am having my parents co-sponsor. My fiance received a list of info that others have prepared successfully, but I doubt whether all of it is necessary: 1¡¢I-134 OK 2¡¢letter of commitment (what is this?) 3¡¢letter of financial guarantee (what is this?) 4¡¢tax return OK 5¡¢passport and travel to china OK 6¡¢college enrollment verification (wtf? I graduated in '99) 7¡¢official school transcripts (really?) 8¡¢student financial aid (really?) 9¡¢student loans (really?) 10¡¢bank statement and certification OK 11¡¢emails OK 12¡¢phone records OK And for my parents: 1¡¢I-134 (already got it) 2¡¢letter of support (really?) 3¡¢letter from work (really?) 4¡¢bank statement and certification (already got it) 5¡¢other personal property (really?) 6¡¢stocks (really?) 7¡¢tax return (already got it) 8¡¢life insurance (really?) 9¡¢real estate (really?) 10¡¢plane tickets (trip to china) (really?) Again, just wondering if all of this is necessary. Thanks for any help you guys can give me - this forum is absolutely a life saver. Best regards, Will
  3. Hi All - My fiance's interview is scheduled for the 3rd of December. In P.3 they ask that the petitioner fill out the I-134 for K1/K3 visa applicants. And, in her P.3, no mention of the I-864 is made at all. My question is, will the I-134, along with the necessary accompanying documentation (i.e. bank statement, tax, letter from employer), suffice? Thanks for your help. Sloppy周

  5. Hi Everybody - Does anyone have any info about the expiration date on the current g-325a form? http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/g-325a.pdf In the upper right-hand corner, a 05/31/09 expiration date is shown, yet that date has already passed. All of my data is gathered, organized and ready to send, but this date makes me reluctant to do so without waiting for the new version. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. - Will
