  1. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is time for me to come out of the closet and jump into this form with both feet. I have been in the wings reading and gleaning information from this site for many months now but have been reluctant to join in the postings. First let me say that I would have been totally lost without the guidance that has been provided by the many caring, loving and selfless people who are involved with this wonderful website. The information, the tips, the encouragement and the experience of the members in this undertaking are priceless. I have learned so much from reading all the postings. The magnitude of the specific detailed information concerning the various visa processes, the organization of the forms, and things as trivial as knowing the size of the opening at the base of the interview windows at Guangzhou has been enormously helpful. I believe it has adequately prepared me for the journey that lies before my lady and me. I have just returned from my third visit to Chengdu where I spend two beautiful weeks with my lady and her family. While there, in the company of the whole family, I respectfully ask my lady¡¯s father for his permission to marry his daughter. I did this in my broken Mandarin. After the family had a good laugh, he and his wife gave us their enthusiastic approval and permission. The next day at a formal engagement luncheon I presented Chaojian with her engagement ring. The expression of happiness on her face was something I will never forget as long as I live. This was the natural culmination of a loving relationship that began over a year ago after we had met through an agency in Chengdu. Chaojian and I had been talking about marriage for a long time prior to this last trip and I have been working on the I-129F Fianc¨¦e Visa petition for many months. During this last trip I obtained her notarized books for birth proof, divorce certificate, eligibility to marry certificate, custody for her daughter certificate, husband¡¯s death certificate and you name it certificate! She also signed the I-129F and all the copies of the 325A forms. I want to emphasize that all of this would have been impossible without the guidance I obtained from this website. I would have been dead in the water instead of ready to submit my application. I would again like to express a very sincere and heartfelt thanks to all of you! As I said, I am about ready to make the original submission of my I-129F in conjunction with the K-1 visa petition but two last minute wrenches have been thrown into the works. I have email Guangzhou with these questions two weeks ago and still have not received an answer. When I was in Chengdu last week, I went to the American consulate there ¡ completely useless. I did not see a single American while I was in there and the person I was dealing with called both Guangzhou and Beijing and got two different answers from each place. So now I would like to turn to you ¡ my brothers and sisters. Here is the situation. I was told by the matchmaking agency in Chengdu that I needed to submit and additional 325A with photo for my wife¡¯s 19 year old daughter who will be accompanying her mother to the U.S. in conjunction with obtaining a K-2 visa. I was under the impression that all I had to do was place the daughter¡¯s name and information in the appropriate box on the I-129F in order for her to obtain this visa. Also, it does not state this in the application instructions. Can anyone clarify this point? Secondly, will the daughter have the same interview date as the mother and will she be able to travel with her mother to the U.S. or does she have to come at a later date? Lastly, I only discovered yesterday that my lady¡¯s older cousin is a member of the CCP. He has been a member since 1997. Is this going to cause any kind of a red flag problem? Should it be addressed on a separate sheet and submitted along with the I-129F package? I have read through the forum and did not see any of these three issues addressed. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I apologize for the length of this first posting. It is a heck of a baptism of fire. I shall look forward to hearing from you soon, I remain, Sincerely, Richard screameagle
