well ling had her interview today the interviewer was a very nice lady before we went to her office she asked ling if she could speak English ling answered yes once we got sworn in and sat down she asked for ID's ,birth ,certificates passports,marriage documents,tax returns ,pay stubs,letter from employer,pictures and asked ling who were the people (my family ) then she asked ling our address, (at this point ling started to get nervous and said so) phone #,what country did you come from,when she came to the US ,how we met ,do you want to work, questions 1,2,3,6,9,12,14, from the I-485 then asked me how many times I had been to china did I meet lings family my cell phone # are the marriage docs and tax documents copies I replied no the are originals but you can keep the tax papers we need to keep the marriage book though she said I will copy these and be back

we used a plastic accordion type file for everything it had a window on the front and back sides of the cover flap I made 3 collages 0ne on both sides the cover flap and taped one on the inside this way the VO had to see our pictures whether he wanted to or not

I was told that the physical was expired after 1 year and must be done again the doctor said the laws just changed and the shots must be done here I argued with them but they insisted they were right

we went to a civil surgeon today lings physical was over a year old so she needed to do that again we were told that the immunizations were also only good for 1 year and must be done in the USA is this true ? they tried 4 times to draw blood before sending us to a lab to have them draw the blood ling says American doctors no good Chinese doctor 1 time we payed $370 I can't find any info. about how long the immunizations are good for anybody know ? mike
