After I got here and overcame my homesickness. The next step is looking for a job . Your Chinese certificates or degrees are nothing in here I found it after I got here one month . It's not so easy as I thought before I came here. Everything you have to begin with 0. This is the big Challenge for me . I taught English in China for a long while . so I want to change my career. ......

Cuase the tips for waiters or waitresses . They put the tips into their pockests . They should report their tips but nobody do that .

I moved to america one month ago . I didn't feel much culture shock cuase I learnt american culture and history from my text books and my foreigner friends. But anyway what you learnt and what you heard of are different from the facts you see by your eyes . I wish the people who immigrate here will share your true feelings and experiences on here . My friend Jane moved to America one and a half years ago with her fiancee's visa . Presently her husband is going to divorce her. She has no choice, she has to agree to divorce . She moved out of her husband house a couple months ago . Presently she stays at her neighbor's home with her daughter . Her husband is going to give her a little money for divorcing. She is worried about if she will be able to change her statu alone after she divorce . and if she can live in America until her temperary green card expire after she divorce . Please share your experiences about it if you have or give her some advices about it . Thanks

I told you guys the story of my friend before , after she got to america about one and a half years . her husband wanted to divorce her . presently she has to agree with him . Her temperary green card will be expired until Junly 2007 . The Question is if she still be able to live in america after divorce during the temperary avialiable ??
