  1. CONGRATS! Think positive! My husband's call-in letter was the same. He also will be going to GUZ soon.
  2. Thanks everybody! We plan for him to be here before thanksgiving. Have any of you purchased tickets before visa in-hand or is it really really prudent to wait until he's got it (in his hand)? I'm so anxious...I want to buy the ticket now!!! haha
  3. still confused. thanks though for trying to help. Looks like that link is to bridge your CFL timeline with VJ but not the other way around. I think someone will have to hold my hand and babysit me through the process of adding my timeline here http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?...st&p=440682
  4. Thank You for the kind words! SURE!! IF I only knew how to get the timeline imported-- or put it in here at CFL. I don't know how
  5. I think so! That's what it seems (in most all cases) the letter is for! It took about 1.5 months to get the letter in the mail-- but then again each case seems different. I'm sure you'll get it soon!
  6. Hi, I have a timeline at VJ, but can I transfer it here somehow? How do I do that? I have to update it as of his interview, etc.
  7. tHANKS everyone... We haven't posted here in a while. I should take the time to fill in the timeline, etc. If anyone wants to see our timeline, it's over at visajourney too. I have to update it to reflect the call-in letter Is there any way to import the timeline from VJ and put it here?
  8. DARN! HAHA I accidentally posted before done. Anyhow, the old Navy saying: "hurry up and wait" has taken on a whole new meaning. And believe me-- it fits the immigration process WAY more than it did the Navy. If anyone wants to see our pics (which I don't have posted here yet)...please follow this link to visajourney: http://www.visajourney.com/gallery/thumbna...5328&page=1 BTW, we're expecting too!! 15 weeks now and he'll be here for the rest of the preg and the birth! )on cloud nine now-- or perhaps...still in shock(
  9. My husband opened the "call-in letter" he just got from the post office. "CONGRATULATIONS, YOUR IMMIGRANT VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED-- ALL WE NEED NOW IS YOUR PASSPORT.... " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, ETC., ETC., ETC. So, I'm feeling as good as I possibly can while I have a flu, or strep throat or whatever it is. We've waited 2 years and here we are. What a road. And I thought the Navy was a challenge (well, college is harder than the Navy was in many ways haha...maybe 'cause I don't like school)...hehe But the old NAVY addage: "HURRY UP AND WAIT"
  10. congrats to you! what a relief, eh? !!
  11. Hi, I saw you received the pink and then a blue-- how is that possible? I thought if you receive a pink-- you get your visa! What happened, if you don't mind me asking? We have had TWO blue slips since my husband's interview on July 11. Now we can only hope it is an invitation to get a visa! Hope your's is too! Did you also call the DOS and find out that they've mailed it to you? They said they sent my wife a call in letter...pray the lord it's visa approved! GUZ is just trying to wear us all down!
  12. Hi everyone, I'm just curious --- regarding the call-in letter. My husband just found out his "call-in letter' arrived at the post office...he has to go pick it up...we're holding our breath. I read on another's post that a "call-in letter" will say three things and one of them will be checked: 1. congrats get your visa 2. get your visa, but bring some evidence we need 3. we need a second interview ??? Can anyone tell us if anyone has ever had a second interview and WHY Guz would schedule a second interview ? We're just curious... my husband cannot get to the post office until 2 more days because he's helping his parents out of town... Any words will be helpful!! Thanks!
