Got this off the internet. How to type Chinese characters using windows XP 1. Start- control panel - regional language options - languages - details -add - Chinese (PRC) {This option is above EN (English) and Chinese (Taiwan)}- keyboard layout - O.K. - language bar - show language bar - ok. - ok 2. On the language bar, choose ¡°Microsoft pinyin IME,¡± choose ¡°full shape.¡± Then click ¡°context menu¡±, click ¡°properties¡± - ¡°prompt step by step¡±, and click ¡°word¡± - ok 3. Open Word, just type pinyin of some words, at the end of the word or phrase, press enter, the characters will be shown on the screen. If the characters are not the ones you want, choose different ones by typing the number for the character you want. 4. Please change the size of the characters to at least 20. It will be easy to see and check if the character you choose is correct.

Sorry to hear the news. My fianc¨¦ father took ill with cancer. She got her visa extended no problem. When her father passed she went back to get her Visa, they said that they needed to do a new background check, since the previous one has expired. They said ¡°we will contact you in two months.¡± Only one more month to go. Keep good thoughts!!

Hello all. My Hong has passed her interview a while back. BUT her father has taken ill (cancer). Going thru chemo and the such. Her visa is good til end of July. She is the only family member to take care of him. I agree she needs to take care of him. My question is. Is there any ideas of what to do? -Should I have her come here and get married, then get an emergency visa if there is such a thing. And let her go back to China to care for her father as soon as she can. I do not believe he has much time left with us. -Go to China marry her and start the process over again. -Ask my Congressmen. Thanks. I appreciate all the knowledge that you folks have. I have been the silent observer. I need to change that. I have gotten a lot of positive and useful information from this site. I hope now I can give some. It has been a somewhat long journey but the reward at the end has been worth every second.

My Hong had here interview on Thursday. And PASSED She picked hers up on Saturday. Now just waiting for her to finalize things. Then she is coming over. The main thing they wanted to see is a true relationship. She did the interview in Chinese. They asked her, "do you know much english" She responded no not much. Showed some photos of us and her family togeather.
