  1. I have heard tourist visas are very very hard to come by for Chinese women unless they can prove they have a lot of money and a job they are sure to return to.

Yes we were married in October in Taiwan and have been working on the immigration forms both for me to live in Taiwan and her to live here since we will likely live in both places for part of each year. Wow it is visa fraud if she comes to the US as a visitor and we file the I-130? On the I-130 form is a section where it asks if your spouse is already in the US and asks for the I-94 number she is given before arriving at customs. It does not seem they would ask that if it was considered visa fraud.
  3. Has anyone here had any experience bringing a spouse over to the US from Taiwan. She already has a B-2 visa and can stay here for 6 months while we apply to USCIS. Why is it so hard for Chinese women to get B-2 tourist visas? When I was in Taiwan in October there were hundreds of Taiwanese people waiting at AIT for their B-2 visas. Mike
