Yes - I'm not sure what happens next. But non-existent traffic is definitely a bad sign.

Congratulations! I still haven't done that since it's relatively easy to apply for the residence permit here. There's a topic here somewhere about the green card. CFL is pretty inactive these days.

Then he lays into his trolls - I won't link to it here - you can find it easily if you want to watch. There's no word about how he figures to get back on his feet other than just to keep doing what he wants to do. They Want Gweilo 60 Dead! 28,323 views Jul 17, 2024 NANNING I have a special treat for you today. I have a number of trolls that gaslight me and try to make me feel like an introvert. It didn't work but what did work is G60 makes a statement about these turds in no uncertain terms. Follow my channel for the real life in China not the fake shit coming from people that don't live here and think they know what it is all about. My world is 21 years living in this country they call China and I will tell you the truth.

Norm Gerstner Norm Gerstner The homeless boy was scooped by the authorities the day before we were to pick him up. He was sent to a government run orphanage on Samar Island. At least he will get schooling, a bed, food and clothing. Eden and I are still close friends and the Philippines are only a 100 dollar flight away. I will be back. Time to head back to Manila and fly out tomorrow to my home in Nanning,China. It has been fun but I miss my home and traveling is taxing on this old boy. from Kirk Apesland on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/share/pyiTS7CjDYPnuk4H/?mibextid=oFDknk

Yeah, he's fairly well off. Hopefully, he can pull out without too much damage. What happened in 2018? Are you thinking of COVID there?

The combined ages of the three girls was about equal to his age. He drank beer while they cavorted. Not a good look. I'm looking for a major "crash and burn" if one of the girls was the one slated to manage his orphanage for glue sniffing boys in the Philipines (a four bedroom house he's talked about leasing).

from Lei's Real Talk How likely will another June 4th pro-democracy movement erupt in China?

I am back in Nanning but only for a very short time. I have decided that a four week vacation was simply not long enough. This video will explain why I am leaving, where I am going and the future of the Gweilo 60 Channel.

On Facebook - Ok my world changes on a dime. I rented a 4 bedroom house on Leyte Island in the Philippines today. I used to run a childrens charity in China so this is nothing new to me. There is a young homeless boy that has no family that the girls and I are going to take off the street. He has not been to school and if nobody steps in and steps up he will simply not have a future. The plan is to give him a home and a family. Then get him into school and make sure he has a chance in life. Eden my partner is on board with this as she comes from a very poor background also. Wish us luck because I know this is going to be a hard road and we may crash and burn but if we don’t try then a young man’s future is not going to be good. Another great adventure but this time it’s not about fun it’s about helping others without any thought of return. Eden jumped at the idea without thought and that is why we are together. Without that zest I doubt the relationship would work. Oh man I hope this works out. from Kirk Apesland on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/share/fdBzYY3G8dzkEKY3/?mibextid=oFDknk

This is what he posted on Facebook. Sounds like he's got a Filipina honey Just got home to Nanning, China after four weeks traveling around the Philippines. I had a great time and met some really nice people. One in particular stands out more than the rest. Then today I booked a one way flight back to Tacloban, Leyte Island leaving on May 29th. The good thing about my world is I can travel and live wherever I want with basically no restrictions. So, I guess I will be living there for a while. Another great adventure. China’s local governments shut down social media accounts as budgets shrink Once seen as key propaganda tools, agency apps and websites disappear as funding cuts, staff shortages and internet trolls make maintenance a ‘burden’ Beijing’s cyber watchdog has ordered local authorities to streamline operations as ‘zombie’ accounts and white elephant projects proliferate https://www.scmp.com/news/china/politics/article/3264033/chinas-local-governments-shut-down-social-media-accounts-budgets-shrink?module=flexi_unit-focus&pgtype=homepage Many local government agencies in China have had to cut contract workers, who are typically responsible for updating social media accounts. He's been side-tracked - he's managed to get title to his home in Nanning, and then take a trip to the Philipines. He's the first single foreigner I know to get title tansfered to his home, giving him sole ownership on a Q2 visa. I hope he keeps that together and manages to find a track to take for his channel. He's in the Philipines, talking politics, to girls, and glue-sniffing boys.

Residence permit. Can I sell my paintings?
Randy W replied to mahko's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
https://www.facebook.com/share/443g8QpwEzf6fPRX/?mibextid=oFDknkThis popped up on my Facebook feed from the Sixth Tone I honestly think the sale would not be a problem, but exhibiting the paintings and marketing them would, unless your wife can do this for you. -
Residence permit. Can I sell my paintings?
Randy W replied to mahko's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
Selling a painting(s) to a friend should not be a problem, but an exhibition would require a permit. Requirements vary depending on the city and exhibition. You most likely have a family reunion residence permit in your passport that would not allow employment. -
