my fiance was stay Beijing a week. but we did not go anywhere because we was worry about got SARS. we was just stay the hotel most of times. So they had found there are someone got SARS at Beijing now. So I think you have to better stay home or hotel, it would be safe.

I just saw my gg off at the airport yesterday. he was stay here a week. I worry about him so much about SARS when he took the flight. But we were both ok. I think it just keep a distance to everyone then it would be better. I still think Beijing is a little bit safe than GZ now.

Dear Mr. xxxxx: Assistant Secretary Maura Harty has asked us to respond to your e-mail of March 9 requesting information about the fiancée visa application of xxxxxx We last corresponded with you about this case on January 23. Your fiancée's case is currently pending completion of required security-related vetting through an interagency clearance process. Changes to this process made in July 2002, together with communications problems, computer issues, and vastly increased work volumes, have had the effect of delaying many clearances. We are working with the relevant agencies to complete all clearance requests. We are also working with technical experts here in Washington in an attempt to find new ways to expedite the clearance process. Unfortunately, your fiancée's clearance will not be processed as quickly as most others are. A government agency has placed a hold on the process. We are working with the other agency to resolve this issue so that we may process the case to conclusion. However, we expect that a significant amount of time may be required to do so.
