Ying and I just got married and or now filling out the forms for adjustment of status and other forms. She is taking my last name and using her family name as a middle name. The question is do we use her married name on the forms or do we use her maiden name? Thanks in advance!

When do you get your visas and when does Ying make that great journey to the states? Ying is on her way now! She was supposed to have arrived this morning, but her flight was late and with going thru immigration she missed her connecting flight, and could not get another flight out last night. So she stayed in a hotel. She will arrive here at 4:22pm central time. I am ready! I just wish I could have made the trip with her!

Ying passed her interview on Sept. 2, and picked up Visa on Sept 4. We of course are very happy!

Thanks to everyone and yes I am a very lucky man. Ying said the interview was very quick. She said only a minute. The VO asked were we met? How many times married? How long you live in China? And do you have children? Ying says she answered each question, and the VO said "Your Visa pass. Ying says she said "Thank you very much" and that was it. I do appreciate all the help and support from this site. I know we still have much more to do, but it will be easier to accomplish together. Of course we will still be on here!

So how is that going? It's Pink! I just posted it. Will post more details later!

It's Pink! Ying just called me and told me we are lucky. She said interview was very short. Very few questions and then told her she passed and gave her pink slip! I am jumping for joy here!

Well the processing time says Jan. 2. I sent ours in for the 1-129F on Mar. 10th, 2008. Ying's interview date is today! September 2nd. So much for processing times being accurate!

Good Luck. Yiing's interview is Sept. 2, and I can not be there also because of my job. So I well understand. I wish I could be there!

Good Luck! I do think our government goes overboard with some things, and I plan on writing a letter or two to my congressman abo0ut teh process. But I will wait until Ying recieves Pink and is here first!

Here is our new timeline. Ying recieved P-4 on 8-7-2008 Interview set for 9-2-2008. She is excited and very positive.
