We got it! We got it! We got it!~~~~~ I am still in the excitement of receiving the email from the immigration department telling us our case was approved online yesterday~ Oh that is sooooo awesome~~~!!! We finally get our NOA2. It told us we should actually receive it in two weeks. Sweeeeeeet~ :):) Marry X'mas~~~~~oh...I am so happy~~~!!!

Hi Opie, I am not sure that 3 months is so uncommon. I believe the original NOA1 says to allow for 150 to 180 days. In my case, my K1 application took from Jan. 30 to April 30 (3 months). Then it was another two weeks or more before I received the actual NOA2 letter. -jim and Ning Thanks for the information~ I think all I can do now is just praying...... Wish I can get it before X'mas~~~

They told me they need 150 to 180 days to process that kind of case. Are they CRAZY? What the hell are they doing? I am sorry......I just can't hold the bad words...... Oh well apperently, they are slowing down again, dramatically! I know a person who applied K1 for his fiancee last year. and the whole processing only took her 4 months. Though I don't know which center was she at, I feel really bad luck...uh......

oh well...... they've already had a long time not update it......

But I checked the government website and it says the NSC even hasn't processed the cases on Aug. 28th yet. They are still far away behind. It says they only processed to the Aug. 9th.... It's so frustrating.......

I got my NOA1 on Aug.28th. It's already been over three months waiting for the NOA2!!! No news at all! This just drive me nuts...... C'm on NSC......Speed it up......

Des Moines is not bad. That is Iowa's "big" city...lol. Not so big after living in Dallas or D.C. She must work for Insurance industry somehow? Maybe software development or testing? They are always trying to get me to do contract work out there. My problem is, I want full-time work. hehehe That is my fiance but not my fiancee. So that is a he but not she~~ He is working for a consulting company called Deloite. I think he is in an extremely full-time job there~~~hehehehehe

Hey guys, I just back from a five-days trip. My fiance works in Iowa recently for a short several months. He flies back and forth between Chicago and Iowa every week. The city he is working at is called Des Moines. I don't know much about that city. How's there? B)
