I would like whoever has phone numbers, e-mail address and physical address to PM me with them. Tomorrow I start to write personal letters to everyone. I will also start to call on Monday. Eric, This is total FUBAR or they just don’t know what is going on like the rest of us. Below is an e-mail you received from GZ: “THEIR ANSWER: Thank you for your email, Yes, we have resubmitted other names. Clearance agencies in Washington have asked us to resend some names. We have already responded to their request. We cannot resend your request until clearance agnecies request us to do so. sincerely yours immigrant visa unit” I received an e-mail on 1-10-2003 from GZ below: "We are sending all the namechecks again, whether people ask us to or not. I think we will finish today. Your fiancée was one of seventeen we hadn't sent as of this morning." What the heck is going on?!! Why do they need to send them again? I have said this once before a computer just does not loose the name. Well sorry to add to the confusion, just trying to figure out what they are doing??? I think it just made me more confused.

We have all heard many stores. We know for a fact the gov. has lied to us especial GZ. Why is it DOS does not know anything until GZ enters it into the computer. Isn’t DOS supposed to be doing the checks? Look at when you send an e-mail to GZ. Sometimes you get an e-mail sometimes it takes weeks sometimes never. Hu…just like the way the visas are coming out. Why do other countries on the list have no problems with computers (except Russia)? We have heard “we are sending additional resources to GZ”, why if the problem is DOS? I was in Shanghai about 6 months ago at the consulate and I asked if they were issues visas I was told “every day”. I asked about GZ and was told “yes, I have seen some e-mails about it but don’t know what is going on” If you enter a name in a computer it just does not loose it. When you enter a name in a computer on June 5th then another in September the September one does not come first? We have heard many story’s “um..FBI…shhhhh” Come on, who is getting the money and resources after 911, FBI, CIA… Are they lying to us??????? Maybe our focus is GZ. Should we demand to know the truth? Or maybe who cares about the truth, just fix the darn problem!!! This sucks

Yes, they do. They returned my call ( CA/ K Cabral office, not the DOS line although Sarah always does ) within 1 hr today.. Eric, any new info? yes. I will post this soon. I need to verify something first.. But right now, my advice is... if you were not resub'd in January, call CA ( not the 1225 DoS line ) Thank you, Waiting for your post

I am not waiting one more day until someone tells me the truth. How will you know whether you got the truth or not? This is a moving target with this group. I also think that they all took lessons from Nixon in how to talk without saying anything. Lets get the X-FILES on board!! There is something out there!!

I don't think they are orgnized enough to do something like that. It is a true FUBAR. It is just a job to them, just like ours. Except they get more days off and have a great ret. plan
