On 02/25/2010, our family went for our AOS interview at U.S. Dept of Homeland Security office, South Portland, Maine. We were told that because my wife and children had not personally seen Dr Arnold, and the immunization forms were done by mail, that the forms were not acceptable. The officer gave us a list of local Civil Surgeons, and told us to have the immunization forms done again. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, that mail order forms by Dr Arnold, were no longer going to be acceptable.

After a blue slip on August 28th, 2008, my beloved Yumei received her visa today in GUZ!! Now we are all excited, and making travel plans. We will be together in a week or two, and my heartfelt thanks go out to all the wonderful CFL members who have taught us so much, and brought us through this loooong and difficult time. I know it's hard to be patient when GUZ is fuc*ing with your life, but my advice is to be patient!! My friend's SO got a blue in early August of 08, he kept sending them letters demanding action. They got denied the end of October 08. My SO got blue in late August of 08. Perhaps because of my friends denial, I decided to wait the full three months before faxing GUZ. Then I only sent a letter about every 3 weeks. The second letter was a little like a petition, signed by about 30 friends and relatives, attesting to the sincerity of our relationship. All my letter were very nice, begging for approval. The result, my SO got her call in letter 2 weeks ago. She has turned her passports in to GUS, and hopefully will pick them up later this week. We had to wait 7 months, but we got what we wanted. Remember, as pissed as you might be with GUZ, kill them with kindness, so that you get what "you" want. Good Luck, and God Bless, Rick & Yumei

My friend Richard and his SO ChunMei, received white in November, for "not bonafide relationship". He is on his way to China on the 20th, to marry ChunMei, and they intend to see a lawyer in GUZ, named "K. C. Li". Does anybody know anything about this lawyer??? Thanks For Your Help, Rick

It's a gut punch to all of us who still live in fear of a white slip. You cound not be in a better place, as far as people to help you. The advice and support here on CFL is remarkable. Tell your wife how very much you love her, how you will never give up on your marriage, and "that it is not her fault!!" Tell her the things you really don't believe youreself yet,,, tell her that this is only temporary, that the two of you will work through this together. Be strong and confident for her, and above all,,, Pray and Trust in God!! We will pray for you, Rick & Yumei

I read through Judy's memorial site. It is so touching. I am honored and touched that you would take the time to view her website. Judy was a remarkable woman. I think that in the 38 years we were together, she never told me a lie. She loved me fiercely, through good and bad. Yumei has grown to love me with that same tender, and determined love. At one time, my sadness overwhelmed Yumei, but she never gave up on me. She helped bring me through to the happy place that I am today

Yumei is one of the best gifts from the God besides her wonderful English. Best wishes for both of you! Yumei "is" a gift from God, and I thank him every day for her. I also thank him for the 38 wonderful years that I had with Judy. Thank You for wishing us the best!

I lost my first wife Judy, suddenly, and unexpectedly. We were married 34 years (we were together 38). We had a wonderful marriage, we did everything together, and now I was lonely.... As I have been away from the dating scene for quite some time, I turned to the internet. In fact, I used cherryblossoms.com. I thought Asian women were exceptionally beautiful, and they had a reputation of being good and loyal wives. They also will often choose older men, and I was 55 at the time. I was looking for a face that would make me say WOW, every time that I woke up in the morning. I found about 10 women that had beautiful faces, and profiles that intrigued me, so I began writing them. All were very nice ladies. Yumei, my new Chinese wife, felt a kindred spirit with Judy, and the family life shown on her site. Yumei was the woman who said to me, ¡°I am envious of that family life, and I think we should write to each other for awhile, and see where it goes¡±. So I stopped writing to 9 other beautiful Asian women, and only wrote to the one with a beautiful heart to match her beautiful face. Some people never find a real love in their whole lives, I have been blessed two times!! Yumei¡¯s personality is nothing like Judy, but she shares Judy¡¯s character. Yumei is an intelligent, loving, honest, and wonderful woman. She is an incredible mother. Did I mention that her beautiful face makes me go WOW every morning, and her love for me, makes my soul go WOW every day.....
