K3 Interview 11/26 - Blue

Recommended Posts

We got the BLUE for our interview on 11/26, because of CCP issue. Paul couldn't quit the party because of his job, so we just have to provide them with more paper work and send it in ASAP.

when he opened his medical package he was asked if he belongs to the CCP, he answered YES to the question of course, and then the clerk wrote huge letters of CCP on his package.

Then during the interview, the VO asked him about 20 questions and again about his CCP membership at last.

Hello,

Sorry to hear that Paul, hopefully it is a easy BLUE to overcome. Good Luck.

Did the correct thing in this case did not attempt to hide this fact, thus the blue NOT a white slip.

Just need to provide the waiver.

Sorry to hear about the blue.

It takes time to overcome. But the bright side is maybe he can get his CR1 or IR1 without this CCP issue.

It took me about 4-5 months after I handed in the personal statment at interview. Then I got my CR1 visa without any other problem. I changed to IR1 at airport when I entered the US.

An other case mailed the statement after came back from Guangzhou,it took her 1 more month than mine.

The longest wait case I knew for overcome CCP issue is 1 year.

A k3 case is a lady got blue at interview, she handed in her personal statement, and her CR1 still going on. Then she got CR1 interview after 4 months, she got her CR1 visa without any ccp problem, the k3 check for CCP issue works on her CR1.

So as long as your marriage is true, and his majore and work is not sensitivity, the only thing is time. It will take longer time than others for sure, but he will get his visa finally. Maybe the security check for male will longer than female. I am not sure about this, only my personal guess from the cases I knew.

Good luck!

Very good point about keeping the I-130 moving through NVC, by the tome the CCP overcome happens, the consulate may switch it to a CR-1 visa instead of the K-3, You may have to provide immigrations vaccinations information for the CR-1 though, but this will save you from having to adjust status from a K3 and save you some extra paperwork (I-485, I-765, and $1010) FEE.

Is there anything you can do pre-emptively before the interview to get a waiver?

I read some people where they just asked a few questions and if it was work related let them go but others need a waiver. Any rhyme or reason to that??

Nothing, a waiver is filed only at the request of the consular officer.

Thank you all so much for the information.....

we will send in the personal statement and go with the CR-1 if this path will save us some money and paper work.

Should we just pay the I130 fee online?

Thanks again

Contact NVC about the I-864 fee bill, and DS-230 visa fee bill.
