Li'sZhangfu
With the new Proverty Guidelines starting after March 1, would an updated I-864 be needed for any CR/IR interview after this date. Would you please tell us the requirements for the interview? Link to comment
USCONGUZ
Currently you need: 1. One original, signed, and notarized I-864 for each applicant.2. A copy of the sponsor's tax returns for the year, in which the I-864 was signed. If your I-864 is from last year, that is no problem, but you do need to meet the current 125% cutoff line. snoopy
Just want to clarify, after March 1, 2006, currently signed I-864 only needs ONE sponser's tax return for year of 2005. And it needs to meet 125% Poverty Guidelines of 2006. If an I-864 was signed, notarized from last year, or before March 1, 2006, it also needs to meet 125% Poverty Guidelines of 2006. NVC has required sending in the original, signed, notarized I-864 which eventually will be forwarded to GZ post. We also need another notarized one for interview?
