Alien Registration number

Hello Fellow Applicants at all stages!

 

My Fiancee just received her Visa in GZ, our next step is to head to the US. I'll be heading to the US in Feb, she won't join me until June (we leave on June 6, her Visa expires on June 11 - is this risky?).

 

On the forms we need to complete after arrival, they ask for the Alien Registration number (G-325A form needs it). Does she have one of these yet? Where would I find it? Is it the number on her Visa?

 

It sounds like many people are also filing for AP, is it better to file at the same time as AOS, or after?

Welcome to CFL. It is very risky to come here 5 days prior to the visa expiration. What happens if the flight get cancelled or if she get sick prior to departure? You should schedule at least 2 weeks earlier.

The A# should be on your NAO2.

In looking back through my paperwork, I find they put the Alien registration number on all I-797C's just above her name. I found it even on NOA 1. They will also write it again on her visa after she arrives in the US.

Should also be on I-94,right?
