castaway109
Hello all. I live in Missouri so I sent my I-130 to the Nebraska Service Center. I had not received the NOA 1 after 18 days so I was getting a little worried when it arrived in the mail! But, it is issued from the California Service Center! Is that correct? Is Nebraska not processing spouse visas now? I noticed on the immigration timeline from official website that Nebraska is processing I-130 filed in November of 2003!!! Did they stop processing them? Should I be concerned about California? Link to comment
Dan R
California sent ours on very quickly. I wouldn't worry about California (save that for Guangzhou). For other postings I've read it seems a number of members have had their files transferred to other centers because others were over worked.Good Luck! Link to comment
Carl
Don't worry about it. Some of the service centers are extremely backlogged. I sent mine to the Texas Center, which has also has a backlog. Apparently in an effort to clear the backlog the service centers transfer the petitions to service centers that afe either on or ahead of schedule. Mine was also transferred and was processed in less than 90 days. So being transferred is a good thing. Hang in there. Link to comment
