lynne
I hope someone can help. I just got a notice back from the NVC that they need my missing W2's for my I-864 for. I was working in China for a Chinese employer when I met my husband and of course I don't have W2's. Along with my 1040's I gave them a copy of my 2555-EZ Foreigned Earned Income Exclusion Form. I am waiting for a reply from the NVC about this but I don't know what else to do. Has anyone else been in this situation? Link to comment
beijingjenny
Lynne, I don't really know, but is your last three years of income sufficient - W-2s or not? If not, you need to consider a joint sponsor. Link to comment
Dan R
Are you currently employed? Do you have varifiable income for 2004 taxes? If you worked in China be sure to have the supporting documentation of the job. As Jenny says if you are unable to show acceptable income then you will need a cosponsor. Link to comment
