Ooops,the P-3 has come and I can't find a source for obtaining the telegraphic code for my SO's name.Can someone throw me a bone here?

Thanks in advance,I am sure it is a popular question but I can not find a resource.

If you or your SO have the ability to input (or paste) her chinese name , then you can translate a character at a time using this webpage:

Otherwise, her local post office can also give this to her.

My so and I just finished filling out her P-3 when I was in China a month ago and and we were told that the post office no longer handles the telegraphic code, we were told that up untill about two monthes ago the post office and the telephone campany shared the same buildings and it is the telephone campany that handles the telegraphic code so we were told to go to the telephone company and sure enough it only took them about one minute to give us the code, but of course it took us most of one day wondering from one post office to another before some one told us.
