James
my wife signed the GIV3 supplemental for that comes with the DS-230, but she did so in chinese characters, not the roman alphabet. will that matter? Link to comment
mlspyl
James: I cannot answer that question positively. All that I can say is that my wife signed the GIV3 in "English" and our case was successfully completed by the NVC. Maybe another CR-1 at CFL has a different story. If you did not send the GIV3 back to the NVC yet, perhaps you can call them and ask or have your wife sign another GIV3 form and mail it to you ??? Mark Link to comment
Mengxin
The instructions say to use pin yin. I don't believe that error would be a show stopper. Her name in pin yin is already posted over every other document in the package. Her signature however, should be written in her native alphabet. If you like to have some peice of mind. You can always e-mail them and explain what happend. somebody mentioned making an error on the same doc in another thread. The reply to the e-mail was not to worry. Link to comment
