xulei601
I sent GZ a fax with my fiance's new address so they can mail her P3 (they received our case on March 14). I sent the fax on March 15 and they said they will send P3 once they have processed the fax. An e-mail today, March 25, says they still haven't processed it. Is this normal? Faxes can be easily lost, can't they? Should I be worried? Ryan Link to comment
nygatl15
I'm trying to change my fiancee's address also. I don't know if Gz has my file yet. I keep emailing GZ(last email tues) to see if my file has been received.... they tell me it hasn't. one email told us to fax the new address in chinese characters, which my fiancee did, but I don't think it did any good, because I emailed the next day and asked for a status and the said they didn't receive my file yet as I said before. I'm sure I will have to send the fax again... I'm just trying to time it so when they receive it I can have her fax the address again. I hope this works and doesn't cause a HUGE delay. beijingjenny
When I enquired once about a fax, I was told "we receive thousands of faxes and letters every day and process them as fast as we can". i.e. we'll get to it if/when we feel like it. But then someone could be dealing with it and that person just doesn't know. Link to comment
frank1538
I had a similar problem with Jingwen's address. First, they said to fax it, which I did. After a week or so of no confirmation from them, they finally told me to e-mail it to them which I did. They confirmed receipt of the e-mail very quickly. Link to comment
