mlspyl
I have received my Multiple Entry (L) Chinese Visa this afternoon. Category (L) is the tourist/family visa. I elected for the 12 month version. In addition each entry is good for 120 days. I sent originals and copies of all three items identified by the Chinese Consulate as sufficient proof. 1. Marriage Notarial Certificate2. "Red" Marriage Booklet3. Deed to apartment in China that we own The consulate only kept the copy of the Marriage Notarial Certificate and the copy of the Red Marriage book. Mark Link to comment
BobandNicole
Interesting, the PRC is changing their visa rules these days. Used to only be able to get a 6 month multi entry, each entry good for 30 days. When when I moved here only 6 month residence visa no time limit on each entry. Last one was one year, no time limit on each entry. But also had to have a separate residence permit and work permit. Now the residence permit and residence visa all in one put into the passport from what I gather. From what I understand in 3 years I qualify for a PRC green card, essentially the equivilant of US green card as far as rights are concerned. Bob Link to comment
beijingjenny
Yeah, you should Bob, if you stay in China those three years. We would too but guess we're giving that up to go to the US. But who knows, in a couple years they might relax the rules. Link to comment
