response from Guangzhou embassy

I received this response in two days of sending the e-mail to them. I asked them if the name check was completed and I assume that is what the documentation sentence means. The timeline they are giving me seems about the same as the the timeline here. I estimate the interview would be in mid to late July. At least it sounds like they are trying to speed up the processing of K cases.

Ms. Gao,'s record indicates she was documentarily qualified on March 3,2005. We are currently already processing more K cases at the expense of other categories, but the backlog is still several months. Therefore, Ms. Gao's interview will be about four months from now.

well then I really like that phrase "documentarily qualified." That means we are on the home stretch and just have to practice the interview and wait for p4.

So that's why my P4 came later, if they're making K's a priority. At least whoever wrote that email was a bit more forthcoming than most, even if using strange jargon.
