I hope so also. Too much war talk in the world and the US is supporting the little guy in this case. But then, I'm not a politician and politics is not why i'm here.

There won't be any war. This is the media stirring propaganda between the two sides. It's been going on for years. The US also has an international policy regaurding this dispute. The "One China" policy. Taiwan belongs to China. Period. I know my Taiwanese friends don't like that, but that's how it is. Revolution? Escencailly they are already an independant country. They live a higher quality of life and have more liberties than thier counterparts on the mainland. (Funny in Taiwan, they refer to China as "Mainland Taiwan.")
