Renewing PP

My wife's PP will expire later this year. Does anyone know the process for renewing them? She is Chinese and living in US.

Look at the Chinese embassy (or your applicable consulate) web site- info is there last I saw.

I did look at the Embasssy site but all I could find was info for visas. Could you give me a URL?

I guess my mistake was going to the Embassy instead of the Consulate.

Well, the PP arrived today. Actually it was the old one with stamps in the pages showing the new expiration date in 2010 and on another page her name change.

Yirong sent a check as it said on the English site that it would work. But on the Chinese site it asked for money order only. While they were waiting for the check to clear, they lost the check!. Hmmmm

So it took about 3 weeks and we are glad to get her green card back as well.
