MRMC
My question is this. Since the government provides for a 90 day period once your fiancee comes to the US under the K-1 visa, it seems to me that it may be difficult to plan a full religious wedding. Do most people have a judge or justice of the peace perform the legal wedding and than have a religious wedding? Link to comment
turtle
Since my fiancee is atheist and I'm not religious, we're having a judge do it. Link to comment

jkobman
You can get a quick marraige at the Courthouse, a JP or Vegas. Then have a church wedding. Get the wedding license and the marraige straight, file the paperwork and then get things going on a church wedding. We were married at her sister's (in Calif) in Oct and will have a wedding and reception at our home church in January. Hope that helps. Link to comment
