Do not worry. I hated flying. Before meeting my fiancee the furthest I flew was a 3 hour flight. I took a US carrier to China and while in China had to use the internal airlines. I must say that the internal airlines are fine. The planes were actually very modern, all instructions are in english and the crew was friendly. The only difference was everyone boarded at once. I did it and will do it again. Good luck to the two of you.
