But I am sure that if the background checks are starting to come back, they should be returning with much more regularity and the backlog should quickly be resolved, similar to what occurred with the Russian family visas.

 

In my case, I haven't been able to check on the status of my fiancee's case because I've been busy in the office all day and do not have access to our GUZ number.

I am very thankful to see the long awaited mess come to a new beginning.

If 5000 were sent to GZ i imagine they have their hands ful right about now.

I will continue to make the calls and bug the &^$(%*^ out of them.
