How long after name check until p4?

I'm not sure if I should be jumping up and down or not, but I just called DOS and they said we've been approved, all background checks are complete and now are just in the queue waiting for an interview. We just sent in our p3 on 9/23. Maybe the background check is fast, but I got the impression that of the 4 months or so wait lately, that the name check was 3 months and the interview date comes 1 month later, something like that. Any ideas how long after the name check until we should receive the p4?

 

I'm starting to gain confidence this visa might work!

Well, name checks cleared in May/June just got interviews for November. So you're probably looking around an April interview. But a lot can change between now and then, for better or worse.

Wow! The gods must be smiling on you guys. Wonderful news. Maybe GZ is getting its act together. To go from P3 to the P4 queue in less than a month is quite fast. Now, it's time to wonder why it takes so long to get an appointment. Sounds like others are waiting 3-5 months between P3 and P4. But, who really knows.

 

Good luck. And just remember, the fastest way to get through three months is to sign a 90 day note now. The time will fly by.

Ya seems like little rhyme or reason in the interview date. You can see our timeline below as an indicator. BUT knowone really knows plan on 5 months and if it is sooner then... happy days are sooner.
