Patrick & Li
They told me to resubmit my tax return, but not to put it as copies or duplicates. The lady i talked to was a real snake charmer. I wanted to reach through the phone and choke her. Patrick Link to comment
olemanoman1950
Don't feel bad, they can't locate mine either. So much for that $5700.00 refund they told me call back in 3 weeks. I hope I get interest.. Link to comment
Bryan_Qunying
Don't feel so bad. I filed our W-7 along with my 1040 and sent it to PA as indicated on the instruction page. (both 1040 and W-7 together). Some idiot in the mail room in PA (pre sorting I'm sure) sees the 1040 and my address as Wisconsin. Soooooo.... not realizing that there was a "CHANGE" to the way things were to be filed, sent my 1040 to KC and sent the W-7 on to the ITIN Dept. I get a call x# weeks after I filed and was told that I ...."Must file a W-7 in order to clam my wife". Needless to say I went off on them. Now I must wait until next years filling but this time IRS will owe me interset on 2 years of tax adjustment instead of only 1. So it doesn't surprise me to hear about 1040's being lost. To bad many of the stall couldn't do the same. Good Luck getting everything straight. Link to comment
