I am asking for information on this, wife had one before coming here she is a K-3 her friend is a K-1 and did not need for I-465 any thoughts on this before we spend the money. also when you look for doctors check and compare the prices, I found one at $175.00 and another for $ 250.00 for the same thing.

We are K-3.

We were able to submit the I-485 without needing to submit the I-693 until or unless CIS asks for it prior to the interview, in which case, you will need to go thru the formalities. CIS list physicians local to your area.

I would wait until CIS sets up the interview, at which time they will request the I-693, and then go have it done prior to the interview..

As I understand the process, you simply take the documents from your physical in China to the civil surgeon for reveiw. The second physical is not required as long as the documents check out.
