My fiancee is filling out P3 and it says obtain all documents before sending P3. Police records will take a little while to get. She's worried about sending the form in before actually getting police records. What do you guys think?

Define "a little while", if she can get it in a matter of a few weeks I would not worry.complete P3 and send it in.

I expect that my fiancee will be getting her P3 in a couple of weeks.

 

I asked her last night to get her police certificate and 24 hours later she told me she has the police certificate. Now I assume we have to have it translated and notorized. I am not sure how long that will take. Hopefully only a couple of days.

 

If she needs to get more than one certificate, then of course it will take longer.

Normally takes one day,if you take them in the morning you may pickup in the afternoon. Only thing is to make sure the translation in clear, I had a little mishap [luckily I can read a little chinese ]. So make sure your fiance takes to a good translator.

Send the p3's in ASAP. And start g¨¦tting he records for theP4 and the interview. You have plenty of time and everyday you sit on the p3 is another day without your darlin.

Ditto what Trigg said ... send in the P3 ASAP, then chase after all that paperwork afterwards. I've never heard of anyone having any problems doing it this way.
