Nathan Rich, a well-known China YouTuber, has been MIA for some time now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ol7V5cioMuc

It's been known that he has a lengthy criminal past for a very long time - he's even admitted it in previous videos, so I'd be surprised if this was the reason for his disappearance.

Looks like his begging paid off. I just checked his Patreon and he has nearly 800 donaters with a minimum donation of $6/month. Plus whatever he gets from YouTube, WeChat, Paypal, apparel sales and so on... Wonder if that's enough for the "small team" he needs to put out videos of him sitting and talking into a camera.

I think everybody who talks about China on youtube is demonetized, no matter which side of the aisle you are on. Advertisers dont want controversy and they dont want to be seen picking sides.
