Randy W
Someone on VJ has reported that the new DS-160 online form ( and, I assume the DS-260 as well), as of May 29, require the input of their social media handles, including Weibo. DS 160 social media handles in non-Latin alphabets Most Chinese citizens, of course, use Chinese characters - but the forms don't allow these. Check with ustraveldocs.com, or with the Consulate through their email form. The Consulate used to require telegraphic codes for the characters to prevent any mis-interpretation - maybe 15 years ago. Until you have a better answer, enter pinyin with tone marks (diacritical or numeric) - let THEM sort it out. Link to comment
Randy W
NOW he says you can change the name on the account to Western characters, long enough to get through the visa process. Good idea Link to comment
